Lemoen Biscuit
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add the oil, essence and egg and mix.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder and add the naartjie peel.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and blend to form firm dough.
  5. Roll dough; and with a pastry- wheel roll a pattern on the surface of dough.
  6. Cut out rounds with a cutter and place on baking tray.
  7. Decorate each biscuit with a cachous sweet.
  8. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned.
